With 25 years in the Information Security field, Beth Dunphy is the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the IBM Security business unit. She oversees day-to-day risk management, cybersecurity, and compliance for one of the world's largest Security product and services providers with a presence in more than 60 countries. Additionally, Beth is responsible for the unit’s global Privacy program driving compliance with emerging global privacy regulatory frameworks. During her time with IBM, Beth has performed a variety of cybersecurity technical and managerial roles across the corporation. Prior to IBM she held numerous cyber security positions within IBM, other commercial firms and served as a Computer Network Defense Officer in the US Air Force. Beth was a finalist for the Women of Influence “One to Watch” award by the Executive Women’s Foundation (EWF) in 2011. In her free time, Beth enjoys time with her family, volunteering with Boy Scouts of America and FIRST Robotics, as well as yoga and running to stay fit.
